For the 2025 season, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to begin on April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars in Rawalpindi. The tournament, running until May 18, will feature 34 matches across four venues: Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including both Eliminators and the final. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will stage 11 games, while Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each hold five.
Notably, PSL 2025 will run parallel to IPL 2025 for the first time, with the latter starting on March 22 and concluding on May 25. Karachi Kings will kick off their campaign on April 12 against last season’s runners-up, Multan Sultans. Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators will each play five of their group-stage matches in Rawalpindi and Lahore, respectively.
The newly reconstructed Gaddafi Stadium will open its tournament schedule on April 24, when Lahore Qalandars take on Peshawar Zalmi. Islamabad United, led by Shadab Khan, aims to defend its title in a season that promises intense competition. With PSL’s biggest stars in action, fans can expect a thrilling tournament leading up to the grand finale on May 18.
