KKR Trolls Travis Head After SRH’s Poor Run in IPL 2025

After being defeated by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and their opener, Travis Head, faced criticism on social media. KKR secured a dominant win at Eden Gardens on April 3, marking their second consecutive victory of the season. SRH, on the other hand, continued their poor run, managing only one win in four matches.

Travis Head, who played a record-breaking knock of 286 runs in SRH’s season opener against Rajasthan Royals, has struggled since then. Against KKR, he has managed just four runs in his last three innings combined (0, 0, and 4). Following his failure in the latest match, KKR’s social media handle mocked him, posting: “Head-ing towards the business, right from the start”.

SRH captain Pat Cummins admitted that his team has underperformed, struggling with both batting and fielding execution. He acknowledged that their approach might need adjustments after three consecutive losses.

With their latest defeat, SRH now faces an uphill battle to revive their IPL 2025 campaign. KKR, on the other hand, looks in strong form as they aim to defend their title.
