In recent times, Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh, has been making headlines for his controversial statements about former Indian cricketers, including MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev. Yograj accused Kapil Dev of sabotaging his career, claiming that the 1983 World Cup-winning captain dropped him from both the India and state teams for no reason.
During an appearance on the “Unfiltered by Samdish” podcast, Yograj revealed an explosive incident, stating that he once went to Kapil’s house with a pistol, intending to harm him. He said:
I took my pistol out and went to Kapil’s house in Sector 9. He came out with his mother. I abused him a dozen times. I told him, ‘I want to put a bullet through your head, but I am not doing it because you have a very pious mother, who is standing here.
However, he refrained from doing so out of respect for Kapil’s mother, who was present.
Kapil Dev, when asked about the shocking claims, responded indifferently.
In a viral video, Kapil dismissed the allegations with a cold “Who? Who are you asking about?” and when reminded that the statements were made by Yuvraj Singh’s father, he simply responded, “Acha, aur kuch?” This calm yet cutting response from Kapil has gained significant attention and sparked widespread discussions on social media. Despite the heated nature of the allegations, Kapil’s composed reaction has only added fuel to the controversy.
