After being the runners-up in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, India is set for a packed home season featuring series against the West Indies and South Africa. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule, beginning with a two-match Test series against the West Indies. The first Test will be held in Ahmedabad from October 2-6, followed by the second in Kolkata from October 10-14.
India will then host South Africa for an all-format tour. The Test series, starting November 14 in New Delhi, will be historic as Guwahati is set to host its first-ever Test match from November 22. The three-match ODI series will be played in Ranchi (November 30), Raipur (December 3), and Visakhapatnam (December 6). The T20I series, spanning December 9-19, includes matches in Cuttack, Chandigarh, Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.
Before their home campaign, India will face England in a five-match Test series from June 20 to August 4. Additionally, they will tour Australia for three ODIs and five T20Is from October 9 to November 8.
India last played the West Indies in Tests in July 2023, winning 1-0. Their last full series against South Africa was in December 2023-January 2024, culminating in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph under Rohit Sharma.
