Opting to bat first, India posted an imposing total of 208/1 in 20 overs.
Gongadi Trisha starred with an unbeaten 110 off just 59 balls, including 13 fours and 4 sixes, earning her the Player of the Match award. She was supported by G Kamalini, who contributed 51 runs, and Sanika Chalke, who added 29 runs. Scotland’s bowling attack struggled, with Maisie Maceira taking the lone wicket for 25 runs in her four overs. Chasing a daunting target of 209, Scotland managed only 58 runs in 14 overs.
Vaishnavi Sharma (3/5) and Aayushi Shukla (4/8) wreaked havoc, while Trisha chipped in with 3/6. Scotland’s batters faltered under pressure, with Pippa Kelly top-scoring with 12 runs.
