His performances helped India maintain an unbeaten run, defeating Australia in the semi-final and New Zealand in the final.
Following the victory in Dubai, Pandya recreated his iconic “Khaby Lame” pose with the trophy, which quickly became the fastest Instagram post in India to reach 1 million likes — achieving the milestone in just six minutes. The post has since garnered over 16 million likes. This moment mirrored his celebration after India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph.
Reflecting on his journey, Pandya expressed his joy at finally winning the Champions Trophy, stating that he still aims to win 5-6 more ICC trophies.
