Elvish Yadav Recreates Iconic Kohli-Dhoni Moment in ECL 2025

During the Entertainers Cricket League (ECL) 2025, Elvish Yadav recreated an iconic moment from Indian cricket history. In a match between Haryanvi Hunters and Mumbai Disruptors on March 6, Yadav, captain of the Hunters, finished the game in a manner reminiscent of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni’s famous moment in the 2014 T20 World Cup semifinal.

Chasing 183, the Hunters reached the target comfortably. With just one run needed off 14 balls, Rohit Lamba, who was batting on 34 off 9 deliveries, deliberately blocked two consecutive balls to allow Elvish Yadav to finish the game in style. This moment mirrored the 2014 T20 World Cup semifinal when MS Dhoni, instead of taking the winning run, let Kohli, who was batting at 68, complete the chase with a boundary.

Elvish Yadav, a social media star, is leading Haryanvi Hunters in ECL 2025. The tournament’s first season was a massive success, leading to an even more competitive second season featuring eight strong teams. His recreation of the Kohli-Dhoni moment delighted cricket fans, making it one of the standout moments of the tournament. With more thrilling encounters expected, ECL 2025 is proving to be a major attraction for cricket and entertainment fans alike.
