The tournament, to be held in Pakistan and Dubai, has led to India objecting to having “Pakistan” printed on their shirts, despite playing their matches in Dubai.
This disagreement follows the BCCI’s refusal to send their team to Pakistan, which resulted in a hybrid model agreement between the PCB and ICC. The PCB has accused the BCCI of politicizing cricket, with reports indicating India also declined to send captain Rohit Sharma to Pakistan for key meetings.
