The “Pushpa” craze has traveled across different corners of the world, and it now appears to also be in Bangladesh, as one bowler was seen celebrating in the Pushpa style after taking a wicket in the Bangladesh Premier League. This took place when Al Islam took the wicket of Munim Shahriar.
After grabbing the wicket, he mixed two celebrations which included the “You Can’t See Me” celebration of WWE Star John Cena, and the classic Pushpa movie move. It added another level of thrill to the classic match between Dhaka Capitals and Chittagong Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League, which is being played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Al Islam was able to bowl well in the game but Dhaka Capitals were still able to secure an eight-wicket win over Chittagong Kings. Tanzid Hasan, their opening batsman, was able to score 90 runs in just 54 balls, which was also joined by Litton Das who scored 25 runs, marking a contribution to their 75-run partnership.
Al Islam was one of the best performers for Chittagong Kings, as he conceded just 18 runs and also grabbed Munim Shahriar’s wicket.
