Indian cricket team travelled to Adelaide for the second Test with high spirits. Jasprit Bumrah’s stellar performance, claiming 8/72, and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s fine century in Perth were pivotal in securing India’s 10th Test victory on Australian soil. The win also marked only the third time India took a 1-0 lead in a series Down Under.
The journey to Adelaide, however, was not without its lighter moments. A video shared by the BCCI revealed Yashasvi Jaiswal getting stuck in a “no-entry” area, prompting a humorous scolding from captain Rohit Sharma, who displayed a big-brotherly concern. Shubman Gill joined the fun by teasing Jaiswal, adding to the team’s camaraderie. Shubmwn added:
He got stuck. It says no entry right there. It will open if we go close only if we go close. Why did you go there?
